Assistant Brand Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for the implementation of specific marketing activities laid out in the Marketing Plan. S/he ensures the timely delivery of tactical marketing initiatives and reviews their effectiveness after implementation. S/he gathers data directly from retailers and end users to gather market insight for use in determining appropriate marketing activities.

 

Job Role

  • Defines timelines for the execution of individual marketing activities in the Marketing Plan
  • Develops objectives for individual marketing activities, aligned with the broader Brand Strategy and Marketing Plan
  • Reviews completed projects against pre-set project objectives
  • Recommends which initiatives to continue or discontinue based on the results of project reviews
  • Executes promotions campaigns detailed in the Marketing Plan, particularly those related to brand activation
  • Assesses effectiveness of promotions campaigns based on sales uplift, consumer hits, and cost-to-sales conversion, among others
  • Coordinates with external agencies for the design of marketing collaterals or the execution of activation campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Assistant Trade Marketing

Job Description:

Channel/Account Sales Performance

  • Ensures channel targets are met by pursuing on time, in full and efficient implementation of channel activities.
  • Ensures sell-in and sell-out promo targets are achieved.
  • Collaborates with the Brand Manager and the Sales Department in translating the Brand Strategy into specific Channel/Account strategies and programs, to address business objectives.

 

Trade /Retail Activations

  • Develops, recommends & implement store/retail initiatives to improve product sell out.
  • Defines timelines and monitors store activations and merchandising campaigns to ensure that they are within timeline and committed launch dates.
  • Monitors planning and execution of branding activities such as Sales Promotions, Store Activations, Exhibits, Christmas trees, and partnerships.
  • Evaluates & analyses marketing initiatives and provide recommendations to better improve succeeding marketing activities.

 

Special Projects Assigned

  • Conducts store visits to monitor the implementation of merchandising initiatives
  • Consults with Trade Marketing Officers, Sales Development Officers, and product retailers to harvest consumer insight
  • Studies promotional initiatives of competing products to come up with counterpart promotions for FELCO brands
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of merchandising initiatives by aligning sales figures with the Sales Department
  • Creates a promotions analysis based on customer feedback and contribution to sales growth

 

Deliver EBITDA through a controlled Marketing Spend (for Major Initiatives)

  • Ensures all expenses of major activities are within approved budget.
  • Coordinates with Purchasing for the specs and quality of Marketing materials.

 

Market Insight

  • Get consumer insights on product quality, pricing, promotions and provides recommendations based on the feedback gathered from the field.
  • Engage customers, JSMs, Store personnel by getting feedback and suggestions
  • Gather competitor information – pricing, promo, new products info and provide report to brand & marketing team to ensure product competitiveness

 

Reports

  • Evaluation Report & Analysis on Sales Promotions, Merchandising Initiatives, Brand Partnerships and Special projects
  • Benchmarking Reports on Competitor Promotions
  • Event/Marketing Initiatives Closure Reports

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
